- Mrs Haygood of Georgia has been visiting friends in Burnet, Marble and Llano. - Esq. Spitler has bought out Adam B. Johnson's stock of Furniture. Mr. Johnson is going to Indian Territory for his health, being a great sufferer from asthma. This paper's earnest wish is the health and prosperity of both. - Don't be discouraged about that rain. It is at hand, and it will be a chip-floater, a root-soaker, a chicken-drowner, and a gully washer. The lowlands will be under water, and all nature will smile. - District Attorney Kinnard visited the scene of the Powers murder Monday. |
