A limited quantity of pure red top and orange cane seed.  Also some millet seed, home raised.

The Beginning of Work

Contractor Hughes has arrived in Burnet, with several cars of mules, working implements, groceries, feed, etc.  We understand that the shipments above are direct from Kansas City, the home of the contractor.

They prepared to begin work at once, but have been somewhat delayed by the heavy rains.  Probably forty or fifty regular hands arrived with the construction crew.

The work will be pushed with great rapidity, and it is likely that trains will be running through to Lampasas within six months.

The firm name of F. R. Keele is this day changed to Keele Bros.  We will appreciate a continuance of the public patronage.
