Miss Ethel Davis who has been working in Dallas returned home for a visit. Mrs. J. M. Cehand accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Milam and daughter, Mary Alice of Austin to Galveston where Mary Alice will enter a hospital for treatment.
Mrs. Vera Horn was the Friday night guest of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Dillingham and family. Mrs. Jack Stiles has entered a Temple hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Smith and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. R. N. Gray of Bertram, Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Dillingham and Mr. And Mrs. L. S. Skaggs were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Skaggs. |

Miss Evylin Henick who spent last week in Burnet on account of the illness of her father, R. A. Renick, returned Friday to her home in Ft. Worth. The Bulletin is very glad to state that Mr. Renick is about straight again. |

Leo Humphrey and two sons from Indiana were in this section last week visiting relatives and friends. Mr. Humphrey was born and reared in Burnet county, and is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William Humphrey, deceased. His old time friends were glad to meet him again. |
Mr. and Mrs. Amos Jenkins and family have moved to Burnet from the Lake Victor section and occupy the property on Highway 66 immediately west of the public square that they purchased some time ago from the Lampman estate. They are splendid people and will be an asset to our little city. |

Mrs. Dock Maxwell returned Tuesday from Arcadia, Texas, where she attended the Golden Wedding anniversary of her sister, Mrs. R. C. Beaver and Mr. Beaver. She also visited Houston, Galveston and Texas City. Mrs. Maxwell says she enjoyed looking at the wide expanses of water and the big ships, but that when she got home, Burnet looked the best place in the world to her. |

Mr. and Mrs. Doran Cornelius are the proud parents of a fine baby girl, born Monday in an austin hospital. Doran is hitting the ground only in high places. The first real norther of the winter swooped down on us early Tuesday. The thermometer registered 45 Wednesday morning, the coldest so far this fall. Miss Elsie Livingston from Austin visited relatives in this section last week-end. She was accompanied by W. D. Gildart, who formerly lived in Burnet. Mr. and Mrs. Buster Craddock were visitors in San Antonio last Sunday. Doran Cornelius was in Austin Sunday visiting his wife, who is in a hospital in that city. Bill Love, who is helping save the country in his capacity as Page in the house of representatives, spent the weekend in Burnet with home folks. |
