Denver City Memorial Park

Denver City Memorial Park cemetery was established in 1951 when 10 acres of land were purchased for a cemetery. The first person buried here was John Boulter in March 1951. A cemetery improvement and beautification project was begun in 1957. Women and men cleaned the area. Then they planted grass seed, shrubs, trees, and hauled material for fencing and posts. Individuals, businesses, organizations and public officials contributed to the cemetery improvement which made it a proud addition to the town of Denver City.
