Sgt. Donald Barnett Prisoner of the Germans.

Mrs. Donald Barnet received a letter last Friday from her husband, Sgt. Donald Barnett, that he was a prisoner of War of the German government. The letter was written December 30th. The War Department had notified Mrs. Barnett that her husband was missing in action about Dec. 14, when the German drive against the Allies was at its height. He was captured in France. Donald is a son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Barnett of Burnet. His wife makes her home in Burnet and Texas City. It is a great relief to his wife, parents, other relatives, and friends to know that Donald is alive and well, although a prisoner of the Germans.
