East Burnet Notes
Miss Vira Jennings, one of Bertram's most charming young ladies, is visiting Mr. S. C. Clark  and family.  She probably will remain here several days.

Mr. Andrew Clark, a nice young gentleman of Burnet, paid a week's visit to Rocky among friends and relative the latter part of December.

Master Tom Taylor of Rocky spent Christmas with his old chum, Master Lewis Clark.

Bluffton Notes
Miss Lula Dudley of Missouri and Miss Laura Gray of Llano visited their friends and relatives in Bluffton last Sunday and Monday.

The young people of Bluffton had an enjoyable time at the tree Christmas night.

Mr. Joel Garrett is suffering from a severe case of granulated sore eyes.  He has discontinued his school for a week or two, and is now in Burnet under treatment of the doctor.

Miss Kate Dunn,  who is teaching at Lone Grove, spent a few days with relatives at Bluffton last week.
