Post High School, Garza County, TX - Early 1900s
NOTE: Dan Cockrum says he believes the above photo was taken shortly after the building was completed in 1927 (abt. 1929) since the trees are so small. He further says "I understand that the first course of masonry in the building's walls was made from the stones salvaged from Post's original stone masonry high school building. As you can see in the photo, the remaining courses are brick. This photo hung on the wall in his Dad's shop for many years."
